Nature Preserve Crime Prevention
We have recently observed some “uncool “ activity in the Jackson Woods Nature Preserve. They include, smoking, small fire sites, tree cutting and paint ball damage.

Our neighborhood watch coordinator has established the “Take Back the Woods” program. He has organized groups of families to increase the walking presence and report occurrences in the “Preserve”. Hillsboro Parks and Recreation also plans, long range, to include “Preserve” nature walks in their senior citizen health and wellness program. Deterrence, through your presence, and proper reporting to authorities, are two ways you can help maintain the quality of this neighborhood treasure.

If you would like to exercise and make a difference at the same time, contact our business office at 503-648-7606

McGruff House Child Safety
